The Center is periodically seeking highly qualified and credentialed professionals and administrative support staff to administer our system of behavioral healthcare. Positions as counselors, therapeutic assistants, psychologists, social workers and psychiatrists/physicians are periodically available. Most positions require a Masters or Doctoral degree but some require a Bachelors degree.

Administrative support positions usually require at least some level of computer skills, organizational skills, interpersonal skills, communications skills, and ability to work and accomplish tasks independently. Administrative support positions such as receptionists, switchboard operator, billing clerks, medical records clerks and maintenance specialists, word processing clerks and various other specialists are periodically available.

    Mental Health Professional

Master's Degree in guidance, counseling, psychology, social work, or the social sciences. May require specific licensure or eligibility for licensure in the field of psychology or social work. Positions are available in various programs of Anderson- Oconee-Pickens Mental Health Center. Some positions may require variable work schedules.

  Clinical Counselor

Clinical Counselors wanted to provide treatment services to chronically mentally ill. Bachelors Degree and one year of experience in counseling required. These are full-time positions with our State agency and some may require variable work schedules.
